You will be able to use the fund added under advance deposit for only for those purposes linked to the Ministry and PAO against which the fund has been added. It cannot be used for payment against any other Ministry and PAO.
No interest would be credited on the balance amount under advance deposit.
No refund can be claimed for funds added under advance deposit.
If the fund is added under Advance Deposit through NEFT/RTGS, balance would be updated on T+1 day. Please ensure that fund are added timely before initiating payment through advance deposit mode.
If the fund is added under Advance Deposit through Online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI), balance would be updated only after generation of GAR 7 (Challan). Please ensure that funds are added timely before initiating payment through advance deposit mode.
Validation on users who shall be able to access advance deposit mode:
A validation is to be put in place wherein only those registered users who have added Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism as their Ministry in their profile will be given the access to use advance deposit as a mode of payment. If the Ministry is changed, the mode will automatically be disabled.
